Turf tires will slip in wet conditions, and they don’t offer as much torque power. If you choose to use turf tires, they’re ideal for dry conditions. 

R4 Composite Tires

These types of tires are made of a slightly harder material than your typical agricultural line. These tires are designed to give your tractor a bit of traction on a construction site. They can handle heavy weights and pavement, making them ideal for construction equipment such as a forklift. They’re best used on hard ground and are made of a harder composite compound to resist wear on gravel, concrete and asphalt. They’re wide and offer a large surface area, which spreads the overall weight per square inch. While this translates to less stress on the tire, you’re giving up some traction. As their name suggests, they’re best used in dry conditions.
